The ballots for Chatham-Kent's (CK) upcoming municipal election are officially finalized.
The nomination period officially closed at 2 p.m. on Friday, after being open since early May.
A total of 86 people are either running for mayor or one of 14 councillor roles. The total number of positions on council is down from 18 after changes to council's future size and ward boundaries were made back in 2025.
Instead of six wards, CK is now split into eight wards, with Chatham being covered by three. Each ward will have two elected representatives, except for wards 3 and 4.
