Few details have been released, but officers were called to Clinton Street near Mitchell Park at around 6 p.m.
There is no immediate word on the cyclist's condition.
As of 9 p.m. on Monday, Clinton Street remained closed between Bruce Street and Church Street to allow police to complete their investigation.
