The yellow alert explained that Chatham-Kent could see up to 90-kilometre-an-hour winds and heavy rain, possibly exceeding 50 millimetres, due to a line of thunderstorms between Chatham and St. Thomas.
The warning was put into effect around 12 p.m. on Sunday, but has since ended.
