Two killed in collision in Plympton-Wyoming

Lambton OPP say two people died in a serious two-vehicle collision in Plympton-Wyoming Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a commercial motor vehicle and passenger vehicle collided at Lakeshore Road and Aberarder Line shortly before 2 p.m.

Lambton EMS and the Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department also responded.

Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene and a third individual suffered minor injuries. Further details, including their ages, were not immediately available.

Police said roads in the area were closed for several hours and reopened to traffic at around 8:30 p.m.

Lambton OPP said the investigation is continuing, with assistance from the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team.
