Kate O'Brien captures Canada's first medal at Paris Paralympic Games

Canada has earned its first medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

Kate O'Brien received bronze in track cycling after she finished third in the women's C4-5 metre time trial at the velodrome.

O'Brien came behind gold medalist Caroline Groot of the Netherlands and silver medalist Marie Patouillet of France.

Three years ago in Tokyo, O'Brien won a silver medal in her Paralympic debut.
