Lane closures planned for Queen's Line

If you use Queen's Line on your daily commute, you might experience some slowdowns over the next several days.

Starting on Wednesday, Queen's Line (Hwy. 2) between McDougall Line and Merlin Road, as well as the intersection of Queens Line and Drake Road, will have intermittent single-lane closures.

The lane closures will be in place as crews complete guardrail removal and replacement work. The closures will be in place daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting on Wednesday and are expected to wrap up on February 8.

A flag person or temporary traffic signals will be in place to direct traffic and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent said drivers can expect minor delays. Emergency vehicles will have access through the work zone.
