A handful of new restaurants are coming to Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent Mayor Darrin Canniff told CK Mornings with Chris, Jen, and Matt on Wednesday during his weekly visit that barBURRITO will dot the local landscape over the next little while.
Four BarBURRITO locations are coming soon to Chatham-Kent, according to the restaurant's website. Two in Chatham at 776 St. Clair Street and 515 Grand Avenue, one in Blenheim at 71 Marlborough Street South, and one in Wallaceburg at 1314 Dufferin Avenue.
The mayor said Stacked Pancakes will also set up shop in Chatham in the near future. The restaurant's website stated that a store will be opening this year at 810 St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Firehouse Subs also noted on its web site that it's coming soon to 635 Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
Canniff also said another McDonald's is coming to the corner of Bloomfield Road and Highway 401 in Chatham.
Those are on top of the Windsor Family Credit Union (WFCU) branch coming into Chatham at St. Clair Street and Pioneer Line and Glasstown Brewing opening soon in downtown Wallaceburg on James Street. The brewery said on its social media that the brewing equipment arrived last week.
The McDonald's in Tilbury just held its grand opening last week.
