Chatham-Kent residents can expect to receive their voter cards in the mail over the next couple of days.
The municipality began mailing them out Monday.
Each voter card contains the elector’s name and address. The cards can be used during online voting on October 3-16, advance polling between October 13-15, or on election day on October 24.
Anyone who does not receive a voter card by Friday, September 30 should visit their closest municipal centre and complete the EL15 form to have one issued.
The completed forms can be returned in person to a municipal centre or emailed to ck311@chatham-kent.ca.
Staff will process changes and you will be provided with an updated voter card.
Voters will need to show proof of identity and address at the polling station. A piece of government-issued identification, like a driver’s license or a passport, is acceptable.
