Spitfires lose lopsided game against Saginaw

Windsor suffered their worst loss of the season on Saturday.

They were in Saginaw taking on the Spirit and ended up losing 5-1.

Saginaw’s Michael Misa would open the scoring in the first period with his OHL leading 19th of the season.

PJ Forgione extended the Spirit’s lead later in the period before Will Bishop made it 3-0 ahead of the first intermission.

Misa would get another goal in the second period.

Noah Morneau ensured the Spitfires didn’t get shutout, scoring his 7th on the powerplay in the third period.

It wasn't the last goal as Misa would get the hat-trick.

With the loss, Windsor’s record drops to 12-4-1-0, while Saginaw moves to 9-7-1-0.

The Spitfires’ next game is on Sunday, November 10, at home against the Peterborough Petes.
