Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare named a top employer in Southwestern Ontario

Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare has been named a top employer in Southwestern Ontario by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

Every year, it holds a competition to find employers who demonstrate excellence in workplace policies, employee well-being, and family-friendly benefits.

"This recognition truly reflects our people, and this award belongs to them," said HDGH President and CEO Bill Marra. "Being named a top employer speaks to the culture we have built together, grounded in teamwork, kindness, and a shared purpose."

The hospital has made employee wellness a key focus by offering comprehensive benefits, wellness programming, peer support, and spaces designed to encourage reflection and healing.

It also prioritizes growth by celebrating its workers through initiatives like Employee Appreciation Week and the President's Awards.

"Through employee surveys and focus groups, we gain insight into what matters most, ensuring their voices help shape our plans and priorities, creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a meaningful difference," read a release.
