New member of the WDBA Board of Directors

Canada's Minister of Housing and Infrastructure has announced a new appointment to the Board of Directors at the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority.

The authority is overseeing construction on the Gordie Howe International Bridge, and David Chemla offers over 25 years of experience managing major public-private partnership infrastructure projects.

He was appointed the director of the Board of Directors.

"I am pleased to welcome Mr. Chelma to the Board of Directors of the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority," said Gregor Robertson. "His appointment reflects our government's commitment to having strong experienced leadership guide significant infrastructure projects."

The board is made up of nine members, including the CEO and Chair Marie Campagna.

Chelma was appointed in accordance with the Government of Canada's open, competency-based selection process.
