U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents detained an outbound driver.
A search of the vehicle uncovered over $34,000 in American cash, a firearm with ammunition, and suspected cannabis products.
The suspect, whom the CBP reported as having an extensive criminal history, was arrested.
The cash, drugs, and weapon were confiscated.
