Windsor police say they have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting on November 28.
Officers from the Major Crime Unit executed a pair of search warrants on Tuesday, one on Partington Avenue near Algonquin Street and the other on Robillard Crescent near Udine Park.
Hussein Al-Hayawi, 25, was arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of Daniel Squalls, who died after being shot outside a daycare centre in the area of Hanna Street East and Parent Avenue.
No additional details have been released on Al-Hayawi. Police are still looking for Malique Calloo, 26, who is wanted for first-degree murder.
