A pilot has non-life-threatening injuries after a plane crash outside Sarnia Friday night.
Sarnia Fire Rescue crews attended the scene of the downed aircraft near Telfer Road, between Michigan Line and Blackwell Road, around 9:30 p.m. When emergency crews arrived on scene, they found the pilot with a motorist who had stopped to help.
The pilot was the only person on board, and she was taken to Bluewater Health by EMS as a precaution.
The airplane had taken off from the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Transport Canada.
