UPDATE: Body found at Ferry Dock Hill

Sarnia police are investigating the discovery of a dead body.

Officers were called to Ferry Dock Hill, in the area off Front Street between Cromwell and Davis Streets, at around 6:30 a.m. Friday, to check on the wellbeing of an unresponsive woman.

Police and Lambton EMS located a 34-year-old woman who was pronounced dead.

Her body was transported to London Health Sciences for a post-mortem investigation.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
