Damage is estimated at $50,000 after flames from a vehicle fire spread to a nearby property.
Firefighters from a couple of different stations in Chatham were called to 159 West St. just before 6 a.m. on Friday.
A fire that engulfed one vehicle reportedly extended to a second vehicle and a home that was next door at 167 West St.
The vehicle fires were quickly extinguished and firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the neighbouring house's attic. Fire crews said there was some damage at the 159 house but no one was home at the time.
No injuries were reported. It's also unknown what caused the fire.
