South Korean team wins annual Port Elgin Super Spiel

A team from South Korea are the winners of the 42nd annual Original Super Spiel in Port Elgin.

Lead by Park Jong-duk, they were able to beat a team from Guelph 7-5 in Sunday’s championship game.

Team Park made history during their run as they had to win seven games in a row after losing their first and third game.

The Spiel featured 16 teams, 12 of which were based in Ontario. Along with Team Park, the other three international teams came from Portugal, Michigan, and Colorado.
