Manslaughter charges laid in connection to Central Huron investigation

Two people face manslaughter charges in connection to the death of a Central Huron man.

Police and paramedics were called to a home on Cut Line Road in Central Huron back on May 26.

David Spies, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, two people have been charged with manslaughter; Kayla Field, 27, of Central Huron and Brandon Weitzel, 28, of Goderich.

Both accused are in custody with court appearances scheduled for Friday.
