The first public gym in Erieau is officially open.
It's located in the back of the Health & Wellness Clinic on Ross Lane.
Dr. Georgina Njoku, who owns the clinic and gym, told CK News Today she wanted to help improve residents' lives.
"A lot of community members are aging and driving to the main cities is hard for them sometimes, plus the cost of gas."
The gym officially opened in June, but celebrated its grand opening on Thursday.

Yearly and monthly memberships are available, and non-members can pay $10 to use the equipment.
Njoku explained that the gym isn't being used to make a profit.
"As we save up, we plan to invest [back] in the gym," she said.
People who use the gym might have to work out alongside patients of the clinic. Along with being a convenience for the community, Njoku noted that the gym was also built so her patients, especially seniors, can exercise and be trained.
"We do full body workouts, and we have cardio machines to help people get their heart rate up," she added.
So far, 25 people have signed up for memberships. Not everyone lives in Erieau, as Njoku mentioned; some have been travelling from Chatham, Blenheim, Shrewsbury, Cedar Springs, and Merlin to use the equipment.
