Blenheim sexual assault suspect released on $10K bail

A Blenheim man facing multiple sexual assault and indecent act charges has been released on bail again.

Trevor Nethery, 40, was charged in January with six counts of sexual assault, one count of assault, and one count of performing an indecent act after his arrest in Harwich Township.

Nethery was released from jail, but was taken into custody again for allegedly breaching his release conditions.

Nethery, who has no criminal record, was in Chatham court for a bail hearing on Thursday and was released to his sister and father on a promise to pay $10,000 if he violates his bail conditions.

The judge imposed several bail conditions on Nethery, including staying away from all victims and complainants, who can't be identified due to a publication ban, and not communicating with them.

He also can't possess any weapons and is prohibited from making any video recordings without consent.

Nethery's case returns to Chatham court on June 2.
