TekSavvy makes $25,000 Donation to United Way

A major donation from a longtime community partner will help support United Way programs in Chatham-Kent.

United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent has received a $25,000 donation from TekSavvy Solutions Inc.

The money was raised through the company's Mega Draw fundraising events and employee donations.

TekSavvy has supported United Way campaigns since 2007, continuing its annual workplace fundraising efforts even as much of its workforce has shifted to remote and hybrid work.

"The consistent generosity of TekSavvy and its employees is inspiring," said Lorraine Goddard, CEO at United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent. "Maintaining such a high level of engagement in a hybrid or remote work environment is no small feat. It shows that no matter where the team is physically located, their heart is firmly rooted in making Chatham-Kent a better place for everyone."

The donation will go towards local United Way initiatives in the Chatham-Kent community.
