No one was hurt when a Chatham home went up in flames.
The fire happened on West Street shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to Chatham-Kent Fire & Rescue (CKFR), crews saw flames coming from the back of the home as soon as they arrived.
CKFR explained that everyone in the home quickly escaped after their smoke alarm went off.
In total, the home suffered around $200,000 in damage.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
