A Thamesville man is recovering, while a Windsor man had to be airlifted to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Chatham-Kent (CK).

Chatham-Kent police say a pickup truck driven by a 63-year-old man crossed the centreline on Base Line between Florence Road and Smoke Line in Camden Township on Friday and collided with another pickup truck driven by a 65-year-old man from Windsor.

Both drivers were the only occupants in their respective vehicles, said police.

Police noted the 63-year-old man suffered minor injuries, while the 65-year-old man had to be airlifted to London Health Sciences Centre with life-threatening injuries.

According to police, both men are in stable condition.

The investigation continues and anyone with information related to this crash is being asked to contact Constable Joel Rehill, at joelr@chatham-kent.ca or the Traffic Management Office at 519-355-1092.
