Driver avoids serious injuries after flipping vehicle on Chatham bridge

No one was seriously hurt after a vehicle rolled over on the Keil Drive Bridge in Chatham.

The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to Chatham-Kent (CK) police, the vehicle overturned after striking the curb.

The driver, a 25-year-old woman from Harwich Township, was able to exit the vehicle. She was the only one in the vehicle during the rollover.

Despite being in stable condition, the woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as a precaution.

There was no damage to the bridge, which reopened to the public shortly after.
