Break-and-Enter Arrests
Three people have been charged following three separate break-and-enters across Chatham-Kent (CK) this weekend.
CK police alleged a 34-year-old man from CK was trying to steal a snowmobile from a garage on Talbot Trail in Morpeth on Friday afternoon.
The suspect was arrested inside the garage and charged with break-and-enter and possession of break-in instruments.
A 41-year-old man from CK was also charged following a break-and-enter at a home on Webb Street in Wallaceburg on Friday night.
CK police alleged the suspect entered the residence while the homeowner was away and stole a dog from inside the home. Police located the accused nearby with the dog.
The man was charged with break-and-enter and possession of property obtained by crime.
Break-and-enter and mischief charges were also laid against a 36-year-old man from CK after calls about a person spotted inside an abandoned building on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg on Saturday morning.
Police alleged the accused was found on the roof of the building, and when officers attempted to speak with him, he jumped down and fled.
He was arrested after a foot pursuit, police said, and allegedly damaged a police cruiser during the arrest.

Fail to Comply Arrest
A man accused of exposing himself at a business in Chatham has been arrested again and charged with breaching his probation and court conditions.
CK police said they received a complaint about an unwanted person at a business on King Street West in Chatham shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday.
A 39-year-old man from CK exposed himself in the front doorway of the business, police alleged, adding that the accused was arrested by the front door of the business.
Police noted that he was bound by conditions prohibiting him from attending that location and was charged with failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with court orders.
