The winter storm system moving through Southwestern Ontario has caused numerous bus cancellations.
School buses in all zones, 1 through 8, are not running today because of the poor weather and road conditions, but schools are still open.
That covers the local public, Catholic, and French school boards.
Buses on Walpole Island are cancelled, and Walpole Elementary School is closed for the day.
A special weather statement is in effect with Environment Canada calling for up to 10 cm of snow.
Visibility is also reduced because of heavy and blowing snow. Motorists are advised to slow down and allow extra time for travel.
The snow is expected to turn to showers or flurries later this morning before ending this afternoon
