Annual Breakfast with Santa brings joy to hundreds across CK

Approximately 250 people enjoyed a free warm meal and some holiday fun at this year's Annual Breakfast with Santa in Chatham.

The 16th annual event hosted by East Side Pride at the WISH Centre in Chatham on Saturday once again brought families together for a morning filled with warmth, generosity, and the spirit of Christmas.

East Side Pride is a community association dedicated to making positive change in the neighbourhood through crime prevention and community-building activities.

Volunteers, including first responders, municipal councillors, and others, helped prepare and serve the food throughout the morning.

"Events like this highlight the strength of our community and the importance of giving back," said Chatham-Kent police. "The Chatham-Kent Police Service is grateful to East Side Pride for inviting us to be part of this tradition and to everyone who came out to share in the holiday spirit and holiday cheer with local families."

The children also got a chance to have their photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
