Children's Treatment Centre receives $28K following tree raffle

The Children’s Treatment Centre (CTC) Foundation of Chatham-Kent (CK) has been presented with a cheque for $28,038 following the LoveWish Christmas Tree Raffle.

The cheque was presented on Friday by Lisa Lester of Four Diamonds Events.

The CTC Foundation took a moment to thank everyone who brought the event to life.

“A special thank you goes out to every community member who purchased a LoveWish ticket, your generosity is the reason this fundraiser continues to shine year after year,” the foundation said in a statement.

The event, hosted by Four Diamond Events in partnership with the Chatham Armoury, transformed the Armoury into a ‘whimsical’ Christmas forest.

“LoveWish is more than a holiday fundraiser, it’s an act of community love. It’s hundreds of people showing up with heart so that kids in our community can thrive,” said Lester.

The donation will be used to directly support therapy programs, equipment, and resources for local youth.
