A person living in one of the recently built transitional cabins in Chatham has passed away.
According to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, they were found at the site on Thursday.
"Municipal staff coordinated immediately with emergency services and support is being provided to others at the site, as well as to staff and partner agencies impacted by this tragic incident," read a statement from the municipality.
The exact cause of death is still not known, though there's reportedly no evidence of any foul play.
