An annual charity gala to support healthcare has raised just over $210,000 for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF).
Last year, the gala raised $265,000 for the hospitals in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
On Friday, CKHAF said the 2025 Parade of Chefs Charity Gala held two weeks ago at the Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham was sold out.
According to the Foundation, 175 guests were treated to an evening of flamenco dancers, live music, dancing, and local cuisine and culture.
“Once again, Parade of Chefs was truly a night to remember,” said Christine Mitchell, President and CEO of the Foundation. “The energy in the room, the generosity of our community, and the incredible culinary talent all came together to create something truly special. Best of all, the proceeds will go right back into supporting our hospital and the patients who depend on it.”
The dinner featured dishes by The Ghurka Lounge, Forte Resto-Lounge, The John D. Bradley Convention Centre, Bambinas, Yardie Vibez, and special guest chef The Spanish Pig.
The Foundation is thanking its many sponsors for a "signature" gala.
