Jordan named All-Canadian ahead of Vanier Cup

The honours continue to roll in for Chatham's Ethan Jordan.

The wide reciever for the Laurier Golden Hawks was named a U SPORTS first-team All-Canadian at the annual Vanier Cup award gala.

Jordan finished the 2024 regular season as the nation's best receiver, leading in receptions (59), touchdowns (10), yards per game (125), and total yards (1,000).

The total yards also made him the first receiver in Laurier football history to reach the 1,000-yard milestone.

Jordan and the Golden Hawks will play Laval in the Vanier Cup on Saturday, November 23 in Kingston. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on CBC-TV, CBCsports.ca, and on CBC Gem.

Laurier advanced to the U SPORTS national final with a 48-24 win over Bishop's in the Uteck Bowl.

This is Laurier's sixth appearance in the Vanier Cup, and its first since winning it in 2005.
