One person was injured during an altercation in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
At around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Fourth Street in Belle River.
It’s not specified what happened, however, one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A second person fled the scene on foot, but members of the OPP Canine and Emergency Response Team couldn’t find them.
Police say there is no threat to the public as they believe this was an isolated incident.
