Three people were sent to a local hospital following a two-vehicle crash near Chatham.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported both drivers and one passenger were transported to a local hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
The OPP said emergency services responded to a collision Tuesday evening involving the vehicles at the intersection of Highway 40 and Electric Line in Chatham-Kent.
OPP Constable Brett Phair said a 53-year-old from Winnipeg has been charged with failing to yield to traffic on through highway.
Police added a section of Highway 40 was temporarily shutdown for safety reasons and for the investigation, but it has since reopened.
