Multiple youths arrested at Tecumseh Park
Two teens are facing charges after police were called to "numerous calls" about a disturbance at Tecumseh Park Saturday evening.
Just after 8 p.m., police received reports of a large group of about 50 people involved in a physical altercation within the park, possibly involving weapons.
Officers were given the descriptions of two youths and found them on Wellington Street.
One of the youth allegedly threw away an item before being arrested and police recovered that and identified it as mace spray.
A 14-year-old male Chatham youth and a 16-year-old Chatham youth were both arrested in connection with the case and later released to their parents with conditions and a future court date.
The 14-year-old was charged with causing a disturbance and the 16-year-old was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
No injuries were reported.

Suspected licence suspension leads to drug charges
Police conducted a traffic stop Sunday that resulted in drug-related charges.
After confirming a suspicion that a driver was suspended with the Ministry of Transportation, CK police conducted a traffic stop. It occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on William Street.
Officers determined that a 55-year-old Chatham woman was driving under the influence of drugs. Following the arrest, the woman was found to have a controlled drug and substance.
She was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where she was charged accordingly and later released with a future court date and conditions.

Police investigating b-and-e
Chatham-Kent police were called to a McNaughton Avenue West home at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday regarding a break-and-enter.
It was determined that a Chatham man had been house-sitting for a friend and found that the residence had been entered through an unlocked door the night before.
Around $1,000 worth of electronics were reportedly taken from the home.
The investigation is ongoing.
