A concert tour celebrating Andrew Lloyd Webber's 75th birthday will be coming to Chatham next month.
The tour showcases Lloyd Webber's legacy and compositions, including the classics from Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Blvd, and more.
"We did a recent tour through British Columbia in the middle of last year and now we're finally taking it over to the other side of Canada," said Tainui Kuru, the tenor of the cast. "We're very excited."
The cast includes Canada's own Melina Schein, who has been known to stun audiences with her high-noted vocals, and Baritone Tenor Kuru, who most recently played the lead role in the National New Zealand Tour of Saturday Night Fever.
"It's two hours of live entertainment with a full band," said Kuru.
The show will take place on April 1 at 8 p.m. at the Kiwanis Theatre in Chatham. Ticket prices range from $43 to $63.
"This is my first time heading over to this side of Canada so I am looking forward to it," said Kuru. "I am super excited about coming to Chatham."
Tickets for the show at the Kiwanis Theatre in Chatham can be purchased online.
