Police searching for break-and-enter suspect
Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect from a break-and-enter investigation.
The incident occurred Monday morning at Shopper's Drug Mart in Ridgetown.

Multiple domestic violence suspects arrested
A 37-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm following an intimate partner violence investigation.
The investigation began on December 1, when police learned of an argument between the suspect and a woman at her home.
According to police, the argument escalated leading to an assault on the woman.
A warrant for the man's arrest was issued when he couldn't be located.
On December 3, just before 4 p.m., officers found and arrested the man. He was released from police custody with conditions and a future court date.

Police were called to the parking lot of the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Grand Avenue in Chatham just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
When officers arrived they learned that a man had assaulted a woman in her vehicle.
A 38-year-old Tilbury East Township man was located a short distance away and arrested for assault causing bodily harm.

Chatham man arrested for theft
Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 47-year-old man for theft, possession of stolen property, failing to attend court, and breaching a probation order.
The suspect was previously arrested for shoplifting at a Superstore in the summer. Police identified him through video surveillance and he was arrested. He was released with conditions and a court date of August 14, 2023.
When the man failed to make his court appearances, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On December 3, police learned of the man's location. Officers attended the address, found him, and seized suspected stolen property. That investigation is ongoing.

Man arrested for driving without a valid license
A CK police officer made an arrest in Wallaceburg after seeing a vehicle being driven by a man he knew didn't have a valid driver's license.
A 53-year-old Raleigh Township man was pulled over at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday after he was spotted driving on Duke Street.
During the traffic stop, police confirmed that he was prohibited from driving.
The man was arrested, and the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.

Chatham man arrested for bail violation
A 27-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested for being at an address he was banned from.
Police responded to a residential building on Fifth Street at 2:56 p.m. on Sunday for a disturbance.
When they arrived, officers found the man and confirmed that he had court conditions prohibiting him from being at the address.
He was then arrested and taken to police headquarters.
