Thamesville Corn Maize to recognize Ronald McDonald House

A popular corn maze in Chatham-Kent is recognizing Ronald McDonald House Charities for its 23rd season.

In a post to social media this week, the Thamesville Corn Maize shared this year’s design, noting that for nearly 40 years, RMHC has played a vital role in helping keep families together while their sick child is treated at a nearby hospital.

RMHC has locations in Windsor and London.

“Here at The Thamesville Maize, we too, strive to keep families close; by providing a space to enjoy the outdoors and learn about agriculture. We love seeing all of the memories created on our farm and are excited to do it some more this fall in our 23rd season,” organizers said on their Facebook page.

Previous designs have included nods to International Space Station Commander Chris Hadfield, Terry Fox, and the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent.

The iMaze Thamesville Corn Maze opens Saturday, September 2.
