Chatham-Kent police have arrested four people after a search of a Wallaceburg residence that allegedly turned up $1,400 worth of drugs.
According to police, a warrant was executed Tuesday morning on Wallace Street and officers seized suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone.
In addition, police seized three prohibited knives, three digital scales, two cell phones, three packs of contraband cigarettes, an allegedly stolen Yamaha ATV and stolen honda generator, as well as a large amount of cash.
As a result, 51-year-old-year Michael Todd Labadie of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and two counts of being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000. Myrakle Cook, 23, of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg, was arrested and charged with drug possession, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and failing to comply with her release conditions.
Carley Phair, 33, of Sarnia and Jean Guy Ganger of Wallaceburg were arrested and both charged with two counts of being in possession of stolen property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
All four individuals were released with future court dates.
