OPP Seek Witnesses To Fatal Crash In Lakeshore

The Ontario Provincial Police say they need to talk to two women who were at the scene of a fatal crash in Lakeshore Sunday morning.

The women, who were driving a silver minivan or a similar vehicle, left before officers could speak with them.

The crash, on County Rd. 42 at Big Creek, happened around 9:25am Sunday.

A vehicle left the road, hit a hydro pole, and landed in the creek where it quickly became submerged in the water.

A 65-year-old Lakeshore man was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and police think the two women could help. They are asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
