A number of charitable organizations in Chatham-Kent are getting a boost from South Kent Wind and the Chatham-Kent Community Foundation.
A total of 20 organizations are splitting $110,000 with the grants ranging in size from $2,500 to $11,000.
The money is being used for a variety of different projects including the construction of a new animal shelter and the expansion of the Mary Webb Cultural centre.

- $6,000 - Westover Treatment Centre
- $5,000 - LKCS Booster Club
- $5,000 - Rotary Club of Tilbury
- $5,000 - Active Lifestyle Centre
- $5,000 - Blenheim & Community Senior Citizens Group
- $5,000 - W'Burg & District Council for the Arts
- $5,000 - Camp Kenessarie
- $5,000 - Blenheim Youth Centre
- $4,000 - St. Joseph School
- $4,000 - Chatham Goodfellows
- $3,500 - W'Burg Senior Citizens Club
- $2,800 - Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise
- $2,500 - Chatham Minor Baseball
