Eight-year Chair of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Board Pat Belanger will not return as a citizen representative.
Municipal staff is recommending Patrick Weaver come on as citizen rep instead.
Looking back on her experience, Belanger says finalizing a new police contract and selecting Dennis Poole as chief are some accomplishments she's proud of. Going forward, Belanger hypothesizes on where the board will put its focus next. "Probably more new technology. Technology is changing all the time and I'm sure there will be more initiatives undertaken."
The board will select a new chair during their first meeting in January.
