CK police charge two 13-year-olds during separate incidents

Two 13-year-olds are facing multiple charges from two separate incidents in Chatham-Kent.

The first happened at around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday on John Street in Blenheim. Police were told that a teen had threatened to kill multiple people before breaking a phone by throwing it on the ground.

The teen was ultimately charged with uttering threats.

A few hours later, police were called to Bordeaux Place in Chatham regarding a potential break-and-enter. The homeowners told officers that a scooter had been taken from inside their garage.

The officers later found the scooter and arrested a teen they believe stole it.

They were charged with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime.
