More residents in Chatham-Kent will benefit from compassionate end-of-life care thanks to a successful benefit gala for Hospice.
The 6th Annual Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation Benefit Gala raised a record-breaking $107,300 to support end-of-life hospice care locally.
The sold-out event featured an evening of fine dining, the opportunity to bid on auction experiences and hear from a local family about their experience at Hospice.
“Our sincere thanks to all guests who attended and our kind sponsors for their support," said Ginny Hawken, who is the special event chair for the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. "Because of your generosity and kindness, local families will continue to have access to residential hospice care as well as grief and bereavement support."
This year's event raised over $10,000 more than the gala event in 2022.
