The Windsor Spitfires had a pair of players hear their names called from the Sphere in Las Vegas at the 2024 NHL Draft this weekend.
Captain Liam Greentree was selected in the first round on Friday night, going 26th overall to the Los Angeles Kings.
The 17-year-old led the team in scoring in his second season, potting 36 goals and netting 90 points. He was named to the OHL Third All-Star Team after the season.
He also helped Canada win gold at the U18 Men's World Championship, with four points in the tournament.

On Saturday, another Spit got the call to the big leagues when forward AJ Spellacy was selected with the seventh pick of the third round by the Chicago Blackhawks.
The American had 21 goals and 38 points this season.
