Spitfires fall 3-2 to Attack in OT

The Windsor Spitfires dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Owen Sound Attack on Thursday.

The Attack scored twice in the first period to take a 2-0 lead heading into the second.  Curtis Douglas put Windsor on the board with goal 6:17 into the second period, and he scored again in the third with 1:09 left in the game to tie things up and force overtime.

However, Owen Sound scored 4:58 into OT to earn the win.

Spitfires goalie Xavier Medina made 22 saves out of 25 shots on net.

The Spitfires are in Flint on Saturday to take on the Firebirds at 7 p.m.
