Express Sign Robert Nortmann Of Bahamas

The Windsor Express has added another forward to the lineup for its upcoming season.

The team has signed Nassau, Bahamas native Robert Nortmann. He came to Canada in 2001 and attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In 2009 and 2011, he won AUS Championships and was named an AUS second-team all-star.

Nortmann earned an NBA D-League contract and played in Australia for a season before joining the Halifax Rainmen. He has also spent a season as a development player in the Harlem Globetrotters system.

"I am excited and expecting great things," says the 6'9" forward. "I will leave it all on the floor every night for our loyal fans."

Training camp begins in November.
