Spits Goalie Continues To Shine

Spitfires’ goalie Michael DiPietro has been named the Goaltender of the Week by the Canadian Hockey League.

The Vancouver Canucks prospect opened the first week of the season with a 3-0 record, including a shutout victory, a goals-against-average of 1.00 and a save percentage of .966.

The shutout is the ninth of his career.

The 18-year-old from Amherstburg was a third round pick of the Canucks in the 2017 NHL Draft.
