Spits Hire New Goalie Coach

The Windsor Spitfires have a new goalie coach.

Perry Wilson has been hired to replace Jimmy Bedard, who was scooped up by the Dallas Stars following last season's Memorial Cup win.

Wilson comes to the team from the Junior B hockey team the LaSalle Vipers.

General Manager Warren Rychel says Wilson is exactly what the team was looking for.

“There were a lot of very good applicants for this job,” Rychel said. “Perry is exactly what we need right now to replace Jimmy."
