Spitfires Double 67's 4-2

The Windsor Spitfires downed the Ottawa 67's 4-2 in OHL action on Friday.

Logan Stanley and Graham Knott both scored in the first period to give Windsor a 2-0 advantage, but Ottawa scored to cut their lead in half going into the second.

The Spitfires jumped further ahead in the second frame with a goal by Cole Carter to make it 3-1. The 67's scored again 31 seconds into the third, followed by Connor Corcoran who earned one final point to ensure Windsor's win.

Goaltender Mario Culina made 27 saves for Windsor out of 29 shots on net.

The Spitfires are back on the ice on Sunday at 2pm to take on the Frontenacs in Kingston.
