LaSalle Police have arrested a 58-year-old man after a standoff that stretched almost six hours on Tuesday.
Police were called to a home on Oakridge Street around 12:45 p.m. after a man threatened to kill someone else.
The man refused to leave the home, and there were concerns he may have access to firearms, so additional police resources were brought in.
Then around 6:30 p.m., the man surrendered without further incident.
Police say the suspect is being held in custody until a bail hearing is held.
He faces one count of uttering threats to cause death.
Police are still on the scene while seeking a warrant to search the home.
